Eloping means being intentional in planning your wedding day, and thinking about what you actually want to do when you get married. Instead of looking at what’s traditional and expected, and modeling your wedding after the thousands of Martha Stewart-esque big white weddings, you do things your own way!

Keep any traditions that you like - and say fuck it, toss out any that you don’t. Putting your own twist on the traditions, like having your first dance around a campfire or pairing your wedding dress with hiking boots, or making entirely new ones! Since 2019 I have photographed over 80 Washington State Elopements and Adventure Weddings. From the Mount Rainier, to the peaks of the North Cascades and Rugged Coastlines of the Olympic National Park - this place is where I call home. Big Sur truly has it all! When you elope in Big Sur, you truly can have it all - from epic coastlines, rugged rocks, stunning cliff views, sandy beaches, rolling hills, ancient redwoods, earthy tones, and the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets imaginable - if you want your breath to be taken away by an elopement location beyond your wildest dreams, then having a Big Sur elopement or adventure wedding will never fall short of just that.

  • I cannot rave enough about Rylee!! She is the freaking BEST!! While we were planning she was like a planner, photographer, and best friend all in one package! She was so responsive, made me feel comfortable and prepared. We had an intimate first look and then a small 20 person wedding, and she helped with ALL of it! She scouted locations for our hike, even going there and sending me videos. the weekend of our wedding the weather was NUTS and caused power outages, snow, rain, the works...YET Rylee and her day of coordinator Jess literally handled everything for me from changing venues to organizing guests. She still woke up and hiked with us in the snow, and came prepared with thermal clothes and handwarmers for us. Seriously, she is hands down the BEST!!!! We had sneak peeks literally the next day, like what the heck she is also super woman!

  • I AM SO HAPPY WITH OUR WEDDING PHOTOS!! Not only did Rylee take amazing photos for our Elopement she helped us throughout the entire day and leading up to our wedding. She found an amazing location for us as well as suggested us where to stay and everything we would need(such as permits and marriage license info). I had balked at the cost of most of photographers my wife was looking at for our small Covid wedding and while Rylee was in the same ball park the results were more than worth it. She did an amazing job with our dawn first look, coached us through it with ease and set up some simply stunning and natural photos that captured the moment and all the emotions beautifully.   • If you’re in the need for a photographer of any sort Rylee is your person 100% I have never been the type of person to get in front of the camera and “pose” but Rylee made this extremely easy for myself and my wife, on not only our wedding day but during our engagement shoot as well. Aside from photography (which she’s killer at) she’s also just an all around rad individual to have in your circle.
