Bend Oregon Cozy Home Session

celebrating your love isn’t something that has to happen outdoors. you know i’m down to say “screw traditional”. a session with your beloved can be whatever the hell you want it to be! in-home sessions are actually such a unique, intimate way to capture a couple’s love. 

this in-home photoshoot with julie and sam was just that. they have such a cute, bohemian condominium near the old mill district right by REI (which is hands-down the coolest fucking condo i’ve been to, ever). their place literally looks like something you’d see on an interior design tv show or a pinterest board. white walls with wooden touches, a mixture of bohemian and minimalist and mid century modern. cute as hell plants all over the place and floating shelves. they should really start an instagram or their own pinterest simply for how cute as hell their house is. 

we started taking photos in their bedroom with some snuggles (peep the cute snake plant in the background), then moved our way to the kitchen. how fucking cute is the little photo collage on the wall with the clips? god, just need julie and sam to decorate my life please. also, it wouldn’t be a photo session without a dance party, booty grabs and some pillow fights on the couch. the chemistry these babes have is just through the damn roof.

these two were so much fun and you can really tell how much they love each other. getting a chance to capture them in their element of their own home was such a blast. i will forever have a place in my heart for in-home sessions, and i firmly believe if you haven’t had one, you should try it. it’s an easy way to get cute photos that are authentic because your home is a place you can simply be yourself.
