It was an amazing experience and all attendees were able to come away with so much beautiful content for our photography businesses.

Rylee/Basecamp Northwest selected gorgeous locations, at the best times of day and had wonderful couples for us to photograph. We were able to collect diverse locations and so many different styles of photos and landscapes. The group was small enough that we were each able to get the photos that match our styles, and also have some one-on-one time with each of the couples.

We had 3 different styled shoots during this workshop. Each of the sessions was at sunrise or sunset, so we were able to take images during the most beautiful light. Also, each location was very different, so the landscapes were all diverse. I captured so many photos that I will be able to use to market my business and the types of adventure elopements that I want to photograph! I am excited to attend another styled shoot by Basecamp Northwest in the future!

Each One-Day Shootout includes:

4 SHOOTS: 2 REALISTIC ADVENTURE ELOPEMENTS / 2 ADVENTURE, COZY, OR CREATIVE COUPLE SESSIONS

We are set to explore two to three iconic destinations with two couples, each couple experiencing an authentic "all-day" adventure-style elopements, coupled with an adventure session for a laid-back pre-elopement/post-elopement casual photoshoot. Each elopement will mirror a lifelike "all-day" adventure, encompassing all the distinctive moments and fully curated elements creating a genuine adventure elopement gallery and experience. Your takeaway gallopers should encompass the most awe-inspiring, one-of-a-kind, and true-to-life elopement galleries, showcasing both the elopement day activities and effectively promoting the concept of a full day, multi-day adventure, nature-inspired elopement experiences.

LOCATION BASED BRANDING PHOTOS

Personal branding photos taken in the locations where you shoot elopements are a vital asset for your ideal client to witness. These images go beyond showcasing your photography skills; they create a visual narrative that intertwines your unique style with the breathtaking backdrops of your preferred locations. West Coast Content Series:

Pacific Northwest Shootouts:

Photographers + Videographers at all levels are welcome! No matter if you’re looking to gain experience shooting elopements, expand into a new market and need content, or are already established in the elopement industry and just want to get creative - this space is for you!
Typically for one-day shootouts, we limit to selling 12-15 tickets, whereas day of we split into two groups, to keep groups as small as possible. Depending on where we are shooting and permitting limitations, this numbe may be smaller.
All of the couples we use are real couples, although some of them may “model” together in shoots like these regularly. Our goal is to always have the most realistic, storytelling shoots which is why we prioritize real couples and are committed to celebrating diversity, embracing LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities.
Absolutely! Even if you don’t have a friend who can join you, we set up an IG group for anyone who wants to chat with others about their travel, ridesharing, and Airbnbs.
Just find the shoot(s) you would like to attend and add the preferred payment plan to your cart to check out. Once you have submitted that, we will send you over a contract, your payment receipt, and your future invoice i applicable.
Each one-day shootout, workshop, and retreat has an info page/section with more details about the event itself. Once you have secured your spot to the event, about 30 days before the date we send out a full guide on the event with location, timeline, and other important details.
We treat these just as a real elopement day, so we plan to shoot in various types of lighting scenarios and weather elements, including in the rain. If something happens with the location we initially planned, we always have a backup or two in our pockets!
If you are no longer able to come, we highly recommend posting your ticket for sale in FB groups (that allow it), and on your own IG. Make sure to tag @basecampnrthwst and we will reshape!
